Scott M. Fischer

Scott M. Fischer was born in 1971 and graduated with honors from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 1994. He is the longtime cover artist for Joss Whedon's Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Angel & Faith comics, and painted the silhouette artwork for the number-one New York Times bestseller Peter Pan in Scarlet.

Fischer's fantasy work extends deep into the tabletop world: his art appears in Dungeons & Dragons core rulebooks including the Monster Manual, Dungeon Master's Guide, and Player's Handbook, and on more than 150 Magic: The Gathering cards. He is a core faculty member of the Illustration Master Class.
