Monte Michael Moore

Monte Michael Moore was born in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1971 and grew up playing Dungeons & Dragons. He graduated from Colorado State University in 1993 with a BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration, earning the school's Outstanding Senior Portfolio award from the Denver Art Directors Club, and self-published his first book, Lords, to sell at that year's San Diego Comic-Con.

Across a career of nearly thirty years spanning comics, games, and entertainment, Moore has worked for DC Comics, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and Wizards of the Coast, painting covers for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Transformers vs. The Terminator. He is a two-time winner of the World Fantasy Art Show for Best Black and White work.
