Marcelo Vignali, born February 4, 1965, began his career with the Walt Disney Company at DIC Entertainment in 1987, later working as a concept designer at Walt Disney Imagineering on projects including Disney America and ToonTown.
He has since worked as a production designer, art director, and visual development artist across film and games, with credits on Surf's Up (2007), Hotel Transylvania (2012), and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018), for which he also drew an in-universe comic reimagining Spider-Man's origin. Earlier in his career, he illustrated cards for the Harry Potter Trading Card Game.
