Larry MacDougall

Larry MacDougall is a Canadian illustrator with three decades of work across animation, gaming, and children's publishing as a character designer and visual development artist. By his own account he struggled in art school, but persistence carried him into a long freelance career working chiefly in watercolor.

His book projects include The Secret History of Giants, The Secret History of Hobgoblins, and Eragon's Guide to Alagaësia, and his self-published Gwelf: The Survival Guide grew out of a fantasy world he had been developing for years. He has also painted cards for Magic: The Gathering.
