Ken Steacy

Ken Steacy was born January 8, 1955, in Zweibrücken, Germany, where his father was stationed with the Canadian Armed Forces. He trained at Sheridan College and graduated from the Ontario College of Art in Toronto in 1979, publishing his earliest work in the Star Reach anthology from 1977.

Over a career spanning nearly five decades, Steacy has contributed to Epic Illustrated, Marvel Fanfare, Iron Man, and the NOW Comics Astro Boy and Comico Jonny Quest series, and collaborated with Harlan Ellison on the 1987 graphic novel Night and the Enemy. His honors include a 1988 Will Eisner Award, the 1990 Comic-Con Inkpot Award, and induction into the Joe Shuster Awards Hall of Fame in 2009.
