Dany Orizio was born in 1975 and graduated with honors from Milan's Brera Academy, having begun in street art before his formal training. In 1994 he joined Studio Horley-Parente, working on tabletop RPG lines including Mutant Chronicles, Chronopia, and Warhammer 40,000, before going freelance in 1997.
He was among the first Italian artists to illustrate for Magic: The Gathering and the Harry Potter Trading Card Game, and has since worked on World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, and KeyForge, as well as collaborating with Disney on projects including Ratatouille. In 2013 his work was featured in Spectrum 20, the annual survey of the best in contemporary fantastic art.
