Cindy Salans Rosenheim

A native of San Francisco, Cindy Salans Rosenheim earned a BA in Art History and French from Tufts University. Her first professional work was painting murals for the Whitehall Hotel in Houston, which led to a staff position as a greeting-card artist at Hallmark in Kansas City, and later to advertising and design studio work in Chicago before she went freelance.

Working primarily in watercolor and pen-and-ink, she illustrates for fashion, food, and editorial clients, alongside children's books, maps, and hand lettering. Her client list includes Time Life Publications, Warner Bros., The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Hasbro, and Random House.
